Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The PromptAI Academy Journal is committed to the open access model, ensuring broad dissemination and unrestricted accessibility of the scientific works it publishes.

1. Submission

• No submission fees are charged.

• Authors may submit their manuscripts without any initial cost.

2. Publication (APC – Article Processing Charge)

• For manuscripts accepted after peer review, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 180.00 (U.S. dollars) will be applied.

• Each article may include up to five (5) authors.

• This fee covers the costs of editorial management, technical review, formatting, platform maintenance, and digital preservation.

3. Reviewer Credits and Discounts

• The PromptAI Academy Journal encourages active participation in the peer review process.

• Authors who serve as ad hoc reviewers for other submissions through the Credits Review platform will be eligible for progressive discounts on future APCs.

• Discounts are granted upon confirmation of the reviewer’s effective participation and timely delivery of peer review reports.

4. Transparency

• No charges are applied beyond the APC.

• There are no fees for submission, peer review, page count, figures, tables, color illustrations, or supplementary materials.

• The APC is only applicable to manuscripts accepted for publication after a favorable peer review process.

5. Waivers and Special Requests

• Exceptional requests for partial or full waivers may be considered by the Editorial Board, based on scientific merit, social impact, or the specific circumstances of the authors.

6. Previous Free-of-Charge Policy

Until 2024, publication in the PromptAI Academy Journal was entirely free of charge for all authors.
Starting in 2025, the APC model was introduced to ensure the editorial, technological, and financial sustainability of the journal, supporting open access dissemination and the continuous improvement of publication quality.
